Hi, I’m Abby! I am a certified birth & postpartum doula, childbirth educator, and certified lactation specialist. I am also a child of God, wife, mom, Air Force veteran, and now your birth bestie! I live in Omaha, NE with my husband, son, and dog — but we are KC born and raised! My journey into birth work began when I had to learn through my own experience just how much it can take to advocate for a physiological or unmedicated hospital birth. After witnessing over two dozen friends experience birth trauma in just one year, I felt a calling to make a difference! Every mama deserves a beautiful birth story they can look back on fondly.
As a doula, I’m passionate about empowering families to claim and reclaim their birth experiences. I believe that every woman deserves not just support, but also the tools and knowledge to make informed choices. Together, we can create a nurturing environment where your voice is heard, and your birth journey is celebrated. Freedom Doula Co is a faith-based organization. We believe God designed our bodies perfectly to bring babies into this world, and we have faith in His design as well as trust in God-given mother’s intuition. I can’t wait to guide you on your journey so you can start motherhood on the right foot!
Psalm 139:13-14: "For it was you who created my inward parts; you knit me together in my mother's womb. I will praise you because I have been remarkably and wondrously made. Your works are wondrous, and I know this very well"

| What is a Doula? | Simply put, a Doula is an advocate, educator and supporter for you and your family! They provide emotional and physical support, postpartum assistance, help you to make informed decisions, and empower your partner to be involved. |
| Is a Doula a Medical Professional? | No, a Doula is NOT a Medical Professional, nor do they provide medical advice. They provide support, education, and advocacy. Our clients are always our top priority! |
| Is there a point to having a doula if I want an epidural or a C-Section? |
Absolutely! Doulas are there to help support you to have your dream birth, regardless of how that might look for you. |
| Will a Doula get in the way of my partner/support person during my birth? |
Definitely not, in fact one of my top goals is to teach your partner how to best support you from pregnancy to postpartum. |
